Introduction
We have tried to write these in a user-friendly form and short manner, so that you can understand your rights and responsibilities properly when using the site. Please read them and understand them fully. Use the site responsibly, as we cannot guarantee that it will always be available for use if you abuse the service.

Privacy
Your details will be stored on our servers and never given or sold by us to anyone else without your express written permission. However, you post information on our servers at your own risk, and although these are managed and ‘secure technology’, it is always possible that information could fall into the wrong hands by the malicious actions of others or otherwise. Music Demos cannot be held accountable for such actions of any third party, and will not be responsible for any lost or corrupted data.

Changes to terms
We reserve the right to alter these terms and conditions from time to time, and the latest version will always be available on the site for you to see. We urge you to check them as often as you like.

Uploads
We are essentially a UK based site to showcase UK based artists and reserve the right to remove artists based outside the UK from the site at our sole discretion. The UK artist, of course, may promote and sell its work anywhere in the world through this service.

All uploads do not represent the views or opinions of Music Demos. MusicDemos.co.uk is a site for you, the user, to publicly post various materials such as photographs, opinions, music and other information. You warrant and agree that anything you upload to the site is your responsibility and not that of Music Demos. This information must not be illegal in any way – specifically but not exclusively, you may not post material which is libellous, offensive, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, sexually explicit, racially offensive, harmful, intimidating, hateful, or abusive. Nor shall information contain malicious code like a virus, You must not impersonate anyone else, or use material on the site without the express permission of the person who posted it. You must not send unsolicited, bulk emails or messages or spam. Furthermore, you must not make libellous or defamatory comments about the site itself, either on the site, or anywhere else.

Ownership of intellectual property and copyright
ALL information ownership must be yours and you must have the right to use it. The information uploaded is your responsibility and Music Demos shall not be liable for your activities on the site, nor shall it endorse or screen any postings on the site. In agreeing to these terms and conditions, you are agreeing and warrant that the information (text, data, music, pictures, logos etc) belongs to you or you have permission to use it. If you are found to be uploading material for which you do not hold the copyright, we will remove you from the site with no refund of any fees paid and report you to the relevant authorities. In any case, it is your responsibility and liability alone to ensure that you have the copyright holder’s permission if you perform a cover version or upload – for example - a music track which is not your work. You must ensure that you have the legal right to do so. This is a public posting site, and you are solely responsible for your actions when using it. Music Demos will not be held accountable if any legal wrongdoings are discovered by yourself, and will co-operate fully with the authorities. This includes divulging your personal information to the relevant authorities if required to do so by law. Don’t do it - the consequences can be very serious, and spoil the site for others. If this is your aim, this is NOT a site for you. Links to third party sites or contact with a third party
You understand that we have no control over, or knowledge of any third party sites or links to those sites and you alone will determine if the site, link or contact is suitable for use. If you are in contact with another person or third party, you are doing so entirely at your own risk and discretion. Be careful not to give out personal details to anyone – whether present on the Music Demos site or not - as we cannot be held responsible for any consequences arising out of your doing so. We do not vet or assess the suitability of the presence on Music Demos of any person, third party or advertiser, and it is your responsibility to do so entirely.

Refund Policy
You have the right to cancel your order within seven days of purchase, or seven days of receipt of the goods (whichever is the longer). If you cancel your order before your order is dispatched you will have your payment returned directly. If your CD has been manufactured and dispatched, you must return your order within seven days, your repayment will be made on receipt of the returned goods. The above refund policy does not apply to downloadable products.

Disclaimer
Music Demos, it’s employees, affiliates and anyone connected with the site shall not be held liable for any loss or damages of any kind - consequential or otherwise - arising from usage of this site. For example; we cannot guarantee that the service will always be available, and cannot be held responsible for any losses arising from this.
